FOCUS:
MCC, PLC, OP and secondary cabinets for a calcining installation
OBJECTIVE:
The control cabinets had to be constructed in under 3 months from purchase order, according to the client design and respecting Australian standards.
SOLUTION:
- Rittal VX25 enclosures, distribution system and cabinet ventilation
- Rockwell PLC, FU and protection devices

THE PROJECT COMPRISED OF:
For this project, our team had to construct the following cabinets:
- 1 * MCC01 panel – 6000 x 2200 x 600 size
- 1 * MCC02 panel – 2400 x 2200 x 600 size
- 1 * PLC panel – 1200 x 2200 x 600 size
- 6 * LCB0xx secondary cabinets
- 1 * OP cabinet
Our client has been a European company, that was building a mineral processing installation in Australia. They entrusted us with the construction of all the cabinets, according to their design and specific Australian standards.
Eltrex supplied all the materials, besides the PLC and frequency drives, which were delivered by the customer to our workshop for installation.
The FAT was done remotely, via a remote VPN access router, and with support from our technicians that were in touch with the client’s automation engineer.
Finally, we prepared the cabinets for sea transport, before loading them in the truck that was sent to pick them up.
