To upgrade and enhance the electrical infrastructure of the exiting facility to meet modern standards and improve efficiency and safety.

THE PROJECT COMPRISED OF:

The project involved complete electrical installations for a new tire manufacturing facility in Romania, with a total area of 12,500 m². The scope included power distribution, safety systems, low voltage installations, and substations.

Power installations:

  • Execution, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning:
  • Installation of 26 Eaton-equipped power and distribution panels:
    • TG1+2, 2 x 3200 A
    • 7 Eaton XEnergy main power distribution panels  up to 3200 A
    • 17 Eaton and Schneider secondary electrical panels for power distribution up to 2000 A
  • Procurement and installation of 12 Schneider transformers 2000 kVA and their corresponding Eaton medium-voltage cells.
    • Approximately 25 km of cables, including fiber optics, insulated busbar;
    • Electrogen Group of 100 kVA (88kW) 400/230 V diesel ENDRESS, a 500 kVAr compensation battery, Eaton UPS
    • Lightning protection system.
  • Installation of over 600 LED lighting fixtures with DALI control system integration (covering both the hall and office areas).
  • Installation of 880 wireless sensors for temperature monitoring.
  • SCADA integration of: signals from the electrical panels, power consumptions, current transformers, medium-voltage cells, diesel generator, compensation battery, DALI light control, wireless sensors for temperature monitoring.

Low Voltage Installations:

  • Fire detection and alarm system by Siemens.
  • Voice-data network, CCTV, and access control system by Honeywell.
